The Name Morelia: We chose the name Morelia, the capital of Michoacán, Mexico, where the first paletas are believed to have originated. As proud Latinos, we aim to spread the rich culture and unique flavors of the Latin world!

Discovering a Passion: Long-time friends with a love for ice cream discovered Mexican-inspired paletas for the first time and fell in love instantly. This sparked our quest to create the best ice cream experience.

The Path to Extraordinary Paletas: We embarked on journeys to Mexico, Italy, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil, exploring diverse flavors and learning the best techniques in gourmet ice cream. We even set up a lab in our home, turning our nights into magical moments of blending unique ingredients and crafting new recipes. Our toughest judges? Our children.
