Oakley Home Access was created in 2015 by Justin Oakley and Mike Vieira. The duo recognized the growing need within their community for this specialty construction business. They saw the significant opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of healthcare professionals to assist with discharges home and safer long-term living conditions for the aging population. By 2017, the company operated full-time, adding more and more technicians and fleet vehicles to meet the explosive demand.

The first Oakley Home Access Showroom was opened in Narragansett Rhode Island in June of 2018, showcasing an impressive suite of EZ Access products including modular ramps, vertical platform lifts, and portable ramps. Stiltz Home Lifts/Elevators, Merit, Brooks & Handicare Stair Lifts, a modified bathroom outfitted with CleanCut, Moen, Delta, & Drive Products, and many other pieces of adaptive equipment for around the house were included.
