At the local level, Tip Top K9 caters to the modern family that needs a well-trained and obedient dog. We are committed to training a well-trained pet that families can take everywhere with them!

At the corporate level, Tip Top K9 Franchising is helping people learn how to train dogs through our Tip Top Method of Dog Training and then support them with all the support they need to run their own business.

Our History

Ryan Wimpey started dog training in 2008 and then started Tip Top K9 in 2010. After working on his training system for 10+ years, he began franchising in 2019. Today, there are 19 locations across the United States.

Our Unique Selling Proposition

Our system of training is based on classical conditioning instead of operant conditioning such as reward or punishment-based training that most trainers use. This allows us to transfer our training to the client better than other trainers! Most trainers can train dogs, but our system is able to be transferred to our clients seamlessly, and the dog responds as if it was the trainer in just 20-30 minutes!
