How It All Began
Longtime friends, Kerven Germain and Joel Balaban, founded AtmosEffect® Fitness in 2018 out of a mutual desire to change the status-quo. Both were working in careers that they merely tolerated and both wanted to devote their time to creating something that would be a catalyst for changing lives!

Along with working in the fine-dining business, Kerven was also a part-time personal trainer. He wanted to shift paths and dive into his passion for fitness full-time, by opening his own gym. Joel came alongside Kerven to help him think through and plan for the next steps. Kerven was quickly met by barrier after barrier. How would his gym compete with all the big-box gyms out there? How would he differentiate his business? How would he pay for it all? Kerven soon found out that the cost of opening a gym was way out of his reach.

At this point, Kerven had to choose to either let his dream die or to pivot. Kerven and Joel soon developed a re-defined gym model that was different than anything else out there; a model that is mobile and can meet the client right where they are, a model without borders and a fitness model with endless possibilities. This model would be affordable and would allow Kerven to step into his passion full-time. 

Kerven and Joel entered into a business partnership in 2018, taking their mobile fitness concept and built a winning system and brand around it. AtmosEffect® Fitness has been serving clients with our consumer-centric, mobile and virtual fitness services ever since. Our heartbeat is to help other fitness passionate people around the world, like Kerven, to realize their dream of owning their own fitness business. So far, many lives have been changed, many stories have been re-written, and this is only the beginning.
