What is a Poké Bowl?
Aside from being the most delicious thing you’ll ever eat, poké (pronounced “POH-keh”) bowls are a Hawaiian staple that feature raw, diced fish traditionally tossed with rice, vegetables and sauces. At Poké Bar, we put our own spin on the island favorite, starting our poké bowls with a base of rice, noodles, or greens. From there, we add your choice of fish, mix-ins, sauces, sides and toppings for a healthy meal that’s all your own. We believe fast food should be fresh food. From our premium ingredients to our exceptional service, eating healthy has never been easier—or more enjoyable!

Traditional Heritage, Modern Result
Our journey with fish began way back in 1989 with the opening of Yanagi Sushi in Northridge, California. Over three decades, we’ve merged our traditional sushi roots with Hawaiian-style poké. The result? Poké Bar—a fast-casual dining experience with a modern twist. Today, we are committed to serving fresh-daily fish, premium sauces and top-notch ingredients in a way that’s fast, convenient, and (of course) delicious.

Sushi has become a staple in modern dining, but having a leisurely sit-down experience is often not an option in today’s fast-paced world. We wanted to create a place where people could enjoy quality food without missing a beat in their busy lives. This vision, combined with our love of sushi, inspired our mission to create fresh poké without sacrificing taste, health, and quality in a fast-casual restaurant environment.
